‘We are in real trouble’: Former Labor treasurer takes aim at Jim Chalmers

Former NSW Labor treasurer Michael Costa rips into Treasurer Jim Chalmers as Australians are economically in “real trouble”.

“We have got a real problem with this bloke,” Mr Costa told News24 host Andrew Bolt.

“He just doesn’t understand the fundamentals, and he’s got an ability to try and spin things and a thick hide where he doesn’t take criticism.

“The bottom line is, we are in real trouble.”
