BBC targets Trump’s family in $10b defamation lawsuit

Writer and broadcaster Esther Krakue reveals the BBC has sought to subpoena members of Donald Trump’s family in the president’s $10 billion defamation lawsuit.

“I’m quite astonished that the BBC’s lawyers thought that was a good strategy,” Ms Krakue told News24 host Chris Kenny.

“Maybe they might come to some sort of settlement before then [trial date], but I’m pretty sure that Donald Trump will make them give an even more grovelling apology.”
