OPEC ‘halts’ production due to a supply glut

CommSec’s Ryan Felsman discusses OPEC “halting production” due to a supply glut.

“Energy stocks led the way on the S&P 500 index, up by 1.3 per cent,” Mr Felsman said.

“We heard from OPEC yesterday, and they announced that they’re going to halt production increases in the first quarter of 2026 due to a supply glut.”
