‘I’m worried’: Almost 300 would-be terrorists now in Australian deradicalisation programs

News24 host Peta Credlin sounds the alarm after Home Affairs data reveals almost 300 people are now in deradicalisation programs, with more than half aged under 25 and 92 per cent male.

“In data confirmed by the Home Affairs Department, there are now just shy of 300 would-be terrorists in Australia in deradicalisation programs, with that number having jumped 20-some per cent since Bondi,” Ms Credlin said.

“Shockingly, 92 per cent are male; this is the worrying one: you’ve got 30 per cent aged 17 or younger, 26 per cent between 18 to 24, 32 per cent are between 25 to 44 and 12 per cent are 45 or older.

“I’m worried.”
