Donald Trump crushes CPAC poll as conservatives back Iran action in droves

US President Donald Trump has surged in the latest CPAC poll, reinforcing his dominance among conservative voters.

More than 1,600 people attended the Conservative Political Action Conference this past week.

An overwhelming 96 per cent of attendees said they approve of the job Trump is doing as president.

An additional 94 per cent agreed with the statement that Trump has been “the best president in my lifetime.”

The results highlight strong backing for Trump’s leadership as the Iran conflict continues to unfold.
