‘You look stupid’: Teachers mercilessly mocked over cringeworthy Gen Z slang

Sky News host Caleb Bond says teachers trying to win over students with Gen Z slang are only making themselves look ridiculous.

Australian teachers are being told to stop using Gen Z slang in the classroom as phrases like rizz, aura farming and lock in increasingly creep into teacher talk.

“When people who are older than Gen Alpha do it, it looks and sounds stupid,” Mr Bond said.

“You might be trying to relate to the students, but you make yourself look like an idiot.

“You don’t want t a teacher to come across as stupid.”
