Xi Jinping ‘calling for greater efforts’ to reopen the Strait of Hormuz

Sky News Australia Defence Analyst Peter Jennings details China’s involvement in the US-Iran conflict, specifically the economic and military implications stemming from the Strait of Hormuz.

“The Trump administration’s policy on Iran changes course more often than a crude oil tanker slowly doing circles in the Persian Gulf,” Mr Jennings told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.

“On Wednesday, Iran’s foreign minister met with his Chinese counterpart. Beijing Is calling for greater efforts now to open the Strait.”
