Wilson shuts down speculation on abortion law change

Victoria’s Opposition Leader Jess Wilson has announced she will not change the state’s abortion laws if elected.

Ms Wilson has told the Sunday Age she believes abortion is a personal decision made by women in consultation with their doctors.

The statement comes as Ben Carroll ramps up a scare campaign against the Coalition over the issue.

Labor is seeking to tie the Coalition to One Nation, who have said they want to scale back access to abortion.
