‘Will your government act?’: PM grilled on responses to violence against women

Independent MP Andrew Gee challenges Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to act on the rates of violence against women in Australia.

“Like every member of this house, my thoughts are with Helen, her family, her friends and the community,” Mr Albanese said during Question Time on Monday.

“I’m working closely with the Minister for Social Services and the Minister for the Status of Women Katy Gallagher, who are developing the second National Plan on violence against women and children.”
