‘We’re seeing an exodus’: New Yorkers and businesses scramble after Mamdani’s new taxes

Filmmaker Ami Horowitz details how New Yorkers and businesses are scrambling after New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s new taxes.

“We’re seeing an exodus with what’s going on here,” Mr Horowitz told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“Mamdani, he wants all these guys out, by the way … to give you a sense of how Democrats work in general … a mansion tax is any apartment over $1,000,000 in New York City, and if you know New York City, that’s barely a 2-bedroom, not exactly a mansion.”
