‘Weakens our political prospects’: Potential One Nation alliance dismissed by the Coalition

​Shadow Assistant Citizenship Minister Dave Sharma dismisses claims the Coalition needs to form an alliance with One Nation to get back into government, stating all it does is “weaken” their political prospects.

​“I think, frankly speaking, it’s harmful to our own prospects to go out there publicly speculating about these sorts of things,” Mr Sharma told Sky News host Sharri Markson.

​“It suggests that we’re trying to negotiate from a position of weakness.

​“It suggests that we don’t have confidence in our own political prospects.

​“All it does is weaken our political prospects.”
