‘We can do whatever we want’: Trump boasts on US military position

US President Donald Trump declared that the United States has regained its global standing after years of “embarrassment” under previous administrations.

“Our country was an embarrassment,” Mr Trump said.

“All over the world, they laughed at us, and they’re not laughing anymore.

“War in Iran is going along swimmingly, and we can do whatever we want.”
