‘Wait and see’: Donald Trump claims Iran has called for negotiations

ANU Middle East specialist Ian Parmeter says Iran has reached out to US President Donald Trump for negotiations.

“It’s always very hard to forecast that with President Trump,” Mr Parmeter told Sky News Australia.

“The big problem he would face in intervening … is that Iran is such a huge country … we’ll have to wait and see.”
