US to deploy ‘new technology’ amid Trump’s ‘no-brainer’ Strait of Hormuz blockade

Sky News Defence Analyst Peter Jennings claims US President Donald Trump’s blockade on the Strait of Hormuz is an “absolute no-brainer”.

“To me, it’s an absolute no-brainer that they should not allow ships carrying Iranian oil to leave or Chinese ships carrying solid rocket fuel propellant to arrive,” Mr Jennings told Sky News host Steve Price.

“What we’re going to see is a clever strategy that is actually short of military operations, putting economic pressure on Iran.

“I think we’re going to see the Americans deploy some interesting new technology which hasn’t been seen yet.”
