US ‘suffocating’ Iran economically with naval blockade as oil prices predicted to fall

Sky News host Rita Panahi analyses the United States suffocating the Iranian regime with escalating financial pressure.

“The US has destroyed seven Iranian boats since the beginning of the mission to guide tankers out of the Strait of Hormuz,” Ms Panahi said.

“Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has also said the US is suffocating the Iranian regime using escalating financial pressure, frozen assets and a naval blockade.

“The Treasury Secretary also predicted that oil prices could fall as more non-Iranian supply reaches the market.”
