US forces brutally hammer Iran with retaliatory strikes following IRGC’s failed attacks

US Central Command have confirmed that Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targets have been destroyed following retaliatory strikes.

Wednesday’s retaliatory strikes by CENTCOM followed attacks by Iran on US forces.

On Tuesday, Iran launched strikes targeting several US bases across the Middle East, but they were successfully intercepted.

CENTCOM confirmed the strikes by US forces were in retaliation for Iran’s attacks in a post to X.

“US forces began launching strikes against Iran at 8 p.m. ET today. The strikes are a powerful response to yesterday’s attempted Iranian attacks on U.S. forces based in the Middle East,” CENTCOM posted.
