US and Israel strike Iran as Trump warns of military and terror threat

US President Donald Trump has defended the joint US-Israeli operation against Iran, saying it aims to dismantle the region’s missile capabilities and stop it from funding terror groups beyond its borders.

“The regime already had missiles capable of hitting Europe in our bases, both local and overseas,” Mr Trump said.

“They would soon have missiles capable of reaching our beautiful America.”
