US and Iran trade new strikes as fragile ceasefire faces growing pressure
The US and Iran have exchanged further strikes in a test of the fragile ceasefire.
US Central Command says it intercepted four drones heading toward the Strait of Hormuz and carried out strikes on radar sites located on Iranian islands.
Tehran has also launched ballistic missiles targeting two US air bases in Kuwait and US naval facilities in Bahrain.
Meanwhile, nine people, including three Lebanese soldiers, have been killed following Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon.
Israel has confirmed it targeted a military vehicle and says the incident is under investigation.
