‘Unacceptable’: Trump dismisses Iran’s bid to end hostilities, eyes post-election military action

US President Donald Trump has rejected Iran’s ceasefire proposal.

Tehran’s offer included reopening the Strait of Hormuz and lifting the US blockade on Iranian ports.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the US President may consider resuming military actions after the midterm elections.

Mr Trump described the proposal as unacceptable.
