Trump’s ‘unusually dedicated’ push for aesthetic changes in Washington faces court setback
US political analyst Aidan Smith reacts to a US court’s decision to block the construction of US President Donald Trump’s White House ballroom.
“It’s interesting, a lot of people have noted that, compared to his first term, Trump has taken a kind of unusually dedicated approach to aesthetic changes in Washington DC,” Mr Smith told News24.
“When you’re in a cost of living crisis, something like this doesn’t reflect that well on an administration.”
