Trump’s Iran deal risks repeat of ‘rotten’ Obama-era pact

Sky News host James Morrow criticises the US-Iran peace agreement and compares it to the Obama-era Iran deal.

“This is not so much a deal as it is a deal to make a deal. Everything in it is, theoretically, reliant on Iran playing ball with its nuclear program,” Mr Morrow said.

“I seem to recall back in 2013 Donald Trump tweeting about Obama’s Iran deal, saying, “What a rotten deal we made with Iran. We get nothing (except laughter at our stupidity). They get everything, including delay and big cash!

“Sorry, Mr President, isn’t that exactly what you just did?

“What’s worse, or more confusing to me, is how Trump now seems to have changed his tune on Iran and its ability to strike its neighbours, even to have ballistic missiles.”
