Trump’s ‘economic D-Day’ pushes Iranian regime to the brink

Republicans Overseas UK Chair Greg Swenson calls US President Donald Trump’s “economic D-Day” against Iran a major step toward crippling the regime.

“It’s one more big step of crippling the regime … the regime is already crippled, right, because of the blockade,” Mr Swenson told News24 host Danica De Giorgio.

“The blockade is working … these secondary sanctions, especially, will just put another layer of heat onto the regime and also punish the people that are cooperating with the regime.”
