Trump vows devastating response if Iran violates nuclear pact
President Donald Trump has warned military strikes will resume if Iran fails to honour the terms of a final nuclear agreement.
In an interview with The New York Times, Trump made clear Tehran would face serious consequences if it abandons the path toward a lasting settlement.
The President said ongoing negotiations are focused on securing long-term limits on Iran’s uranium enrichment activities.
Trump indicated a suspension lasting up to 20 years remains under discussion, though he suggested a 15-year pause could also be acceptable.
With a deal nearing completion, Trump signalled that peace remains within reach.
