Trump dealing with ‘hardliners’ who want ‘maximalist approach’ to Iran deal

Seattle University American Politics Professor Dr Patrick Schoettmer claims US President Donald Trump is dealing with hardliners in his government on an Iran deal.

“There are a lot of people who would like to see this wrapped up,” Mr Schoettmer told Sky News Australia.

“President Trump is dealing with a number of hardliners, both in his government, but importantly in the Senate… who really want to see a maximalist approach to Iran.”
