Trump-Appointed Judge Cannon Blocks Jack Smith’s Report On Trump Documents Case

Ex-Special Counsel Jack Smith’s final report on his criminal case against President Donald Trump for allegedly retaining classified documents cannot be released, Judge Aileen Cannon ruled Monday, ending a monthslong fight over the report’s fate as the Trump-appointed judge said the controversial document would cause “manifest injustice” to the president.
