Tony Burke didn’t want to be ‘dragged’ into helping the Iranian football players

Sky News host James Morrow claims Minister for Home Affairs Tony Burke really didn’t want to be a part of the team helping the Iranian football players.

“Albo didn’t really seem to want to get too involved in this, Tony Burke certainly didn’t want to get involved in this, he’s been dragged into this,” Mr Morrow told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.

“This is going to cause some other troubles with him [Tony Burke] and some of his other constituencies that might, shall we say, be a little bit more pro-Iranian.”
