‘They’re spooked’: Albanese’s obsession with One Nation shown in speech at ALP conference
Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s speech at the ALP conference shows Labor is “spooked” by One Nation.
“I think the other interesting thing about the conference was clearly the prime minister’s speech, and clearly the fact that he referenced One Nation so many times,” Mr Clennell told Sky News host Steve Price.
“He talked about monoculture, he talked about a coalition between the Liberals, Nationals, and One Nation. That’s apparently going to be the tactic as they head into the election campaign.
“It shows that they’re pretty spooked, as you should be when a party with just two seats in the House of Representatives has poll numbers up to 30 per cent primary.”
