Enough episodes of Star Trek Starfleet Academy have been released by now that it’s clear to everyone that it’s not going to get any better. Just like the Star Wars series The Acolyte, which was the pinnacle of the Kathleen Kennedy era like this is the pinnacle of the Alex Kurtzman era, it keeps getting worse the more is released of it.
The big question for fans though, has been if new corporate owner Skydance does recognize why Star Trek is in the rut it is and want to fix it, or if they still think Alex Kurtzman, whose Star Trek they themselves used to fund, is the solution rather than the problem?
