The Entertainment Industry Has One Rule. Nobody Says It Out Loud

The entertainment industry’s political double standard is real, measurable, and one-directional — and you can verify every claim in this video yourself. The voice of Pearl on Steven Universe is being dogpiled right now over who she follows on social media. Not something she said. Who she follows. So let’s lay out how the landscape actually works: why being openly left-leaning carries almost no professional risk in active mainstream entertainment, why the reverse isn’t true, and why the pressure doesn’t require an industry full of believers — just a handful of enforcers and a full supply of people who don’t want the phone call.

I also hold my own side accountable: you can’t cede an entire creative territory for decades, invest in commentary instead of art, and then act surprised you have no ground in it.

At the end I give you a falsifiable test. If this landscape is symmetrical, the counter-examples should be everywhere. Put them in the comments — if somebody hands me a real one, I’ll concede.
