The Albanese government is ‘investing’ in wages to drive economic growth

Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister Patrick Gorman recognises “investing” in wages is a driver for “economic growth”.

“It’s how we support people dealing with cost-of-living pressures,” Mr Gorman said.

“The protections that we have put in place are simply to stop people going backwards.”
