Thailand general election expected to be tight contest

Thailand’s major parties have held their final rallies in Bangkok ahead of the general election on Sunday.

The snap polls are pitting the incumbent prime minister’s party against the progressive People’s Party.

A tight contest is expected, with none of the major parties expected to form a majority.
