Tehran’s long record of failing to honour deals raises doubts over peace agreement

Political journalist John Fund weighs in on US President Donald Trump’s peace deal with Iran.

“The Iranian regime has a 45-year record of never keeping agreements for very long,” Mr Fund told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.

“Everything that they do is in their self-interest; they believe a contract is as binding as the sand that they sit on.

“I think this is simply a face-saving way for the United States to get out of a situation.”
