Strait of Hormuz in a ‘borderline state of war’ until US-Iran deal is achieved

Iran Program Senior Director Behnam Ben Taleblu claims there will be a borderline state of war in the Strait of Hormuz until a US-Iran deal can be achieved.

“The Islamic Republic has not given up its chokehold and its harassment in the Strait of Hormuz,” Mr Ben Taleblu told Sky News Australia.

“The US has not given up its blockade against Iran’s Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman ports.

“Until you actually see a document and see Iranians back down and the Americans back out, there is still a borderline state of war in the Strait of Hormuz today.”
