Spy chief says at least three nations ‘willing and capable’ to kill on Australian soil

ASIO Director-General Mike Burgess believes Australia’s social cohesion is under threat like never before.

Delivering the 2025 Lowy Lecture in Sydney, he also warned of international threats from hostile foreign governments.

“I believe there are at least three nations willing and capable of conducting lethal targeting here,” Mr Burgess said.
