The eight-episode series wastes no time establishing its world, making it easy for both longtime Spider-Man fans and newcomers to jump into the story.
Nicolas Cage delivers a layered performance that expands on his Spider-Man Noir role from Into the Spider-Verse, blending melancholy, absurd humor, and classic detective charm. The series also takes a fascinating approach with its optional black-and-white presentation, which transforms the show into something that genuinely feels ripped out of an old Hollywood noir film.
