‘So disconnected’: Katy Perry mocked for getting upset over patriotic video

Broadcaster Dee Dee Dunleavy mocks singer Katy Perry for using social media to express her discontent with the White House’s use of her song in promotional TikToks.

“There’s no legal argument why the video shouldn’t use her music,” Ms Dunleavy told News24 host Rita Panhi.

“She’s missing the point here; most patriotic Americans would have loved that video.

“So many Americans would watch that and feel pride in their country and feel the strength of that military might behind that country.

“She’s just so disconnected from what American people want.”
