🎬 Director’s Statement:
Anytime I look back on an old regret, I’m constantly asking myself “what would I do differently knowing what I know now?” That question. to me, is pretty similar to the process of trying to beat a boss or a hard level in a video game. So with “Would You Like To Try Again,” we wanted to merge the two and make a sci-fi movie that funnels that feeling of ruminating over your old regrets through the repetitive nature of old arcade games.
It’s a small cryptic film that feels incredibly with our near silent protagonist as she gains hindsight by seeing a new perspective she didn’t before. And the entire production hopes people can empathize with her journey and really think about that question “what would I do differently knowing what I know now?”
