Dr. Miles Heston, a pioneer in neurology and modern science; puts a woman named Sarah, through a test to reclaim her memories after a traumatic experience. Through Heston’s technology that allows for full immersion into memories, Sarah attempts to complete the Doctors experiment.
These memories are a strange mystery for her, as if they were pulled from someone else’s past, but for Heston, they are exactly what he wants Sarah to see.
This kind of trial violates every law of the company that Miles himself founded, and that same company is coming to put a stop to his experiments.
🎬 Director’s Statement:
Through a lifelong love of Sci-Fi, and witnessing Alzheimer’s take the memories of a family member, I wanted to make a film that tackles the ineffable question: what makes up the human soul? Trial 54 is our real stride into the world of dramatic Science Fiction, with a dream to turn this into a feature film.
