‘Scandal’: Labor does a ‘backflip’ on aged care reforms

Sky News host Steve Price claims the Labor government has done a “backflip” on aged care six months after changes they made on November 1, 2025.

“This week they’ve moved to dump its controversial decision that led some older Australians … to pay more than $50 an hour for basic things,” Mr Price said.

“It is the result of a furious backlash from older Australians and their families.”
