Sam Smith’s ‘personality got too big for the music’ as album flops

​Writer and comedian Michael Loftus says Sam Smith’s personality “got too big for the music”.

​“6,500 units, those aren’t album sales, that’s like a condo complex in Miami,” Mr Loftus told News24 host Rita Panahi.

​“I saw Sam in this outfit…it’s like he ate Cruella de Vil.”
