‘Really sad’: Nuclear energy is still banned despite Aussie invention

Centre of the American Experiment President John Hinderaker says it’s “really sad” Australia still won’t allow nuclear energy to be used.

“It’s really sad … there’s a big renaissance in nuclear energy,” Mr Hinderaker told News24 host Rowan Dean.

“The reason is because wind and solar don’t work. A large majority of the time they don’t produce any electricity, and they’re ridiculously expensive.

“If you want affordable, reliable energy that does not emit carbon dioxide, you’re talking about nuclear.”
