A prominent moderate in the US Democratic Party is calling for new Senate leadership.

Democrat Senator Elissa Slotkin says, “if people can’t understand that the game has fundamentally changed and they can’t adapt, then they need to let others lead”.

A series of wins by Democratic Socialists has spurred the resignation calls.
