Prince Harry hit with $18 million in legal costs after Daily Mail court loss

Prince Harry and six other celebrities have been ordered to pay almost $18 million in legal costs after losing their hacking case against the Daily Mail’s publisher.

The Duke of Sussex was one of seven complainants, including Sir Elton John and actress Liz Hurley.

The group claimed journalists hired private investigators to put listening devices in cars and tap into private phone conversations.

The Mail denies the allegations, and the court ruled the publisher can seek further costs.
