‘Potential catastrophe’: Significant warning issued as OpenAI agent hacks Medicare

Former UNESCO assistant director general Gabriela Ramos says she’s glad no “catastrophe” has been caused by a rogue AI agent.

​“There has been no major damage,” Ms Ramos told News24.

​“I feel that it’s a very, very important warning that we should not wait until we have a major catastrophe to put limits.”
