Police brutally clash with violent rioters in Paris as protests explode across France

Student protesters clashed with police as violent riots continued to spiral out of control across France.

On Thursday, violent protests continued over poor school conditions for students and teachers.

France’s Interior Ministry said 71,500 students were involved in Thursday’s protests, with 24,500 in Paris alone.

The surge in demonstrations and protesters led to violent clashes with police as law enforcement battled to regain control.

A majority of the protesters were located in Paris’ Bastille Square, where rioters were met with tear gas and water cannons.
