‘People jumping under tables’: Insider reveals ‘hectic’ scenes at WH dinner shooting

Praetorian PR’s Matt Shupe details the madness and mayhem at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

“People started to jump under the tables,” Mr Shupe told Sky News host Jaimee Rogers.

“You saw the Secret Service come in, a lot of body-armoured Secret Service started to come in, and the mood very much changed.

“It was a very hectic scene for probably the first 30 to 60 minutes, a lot of confusion, people really didn’t know what was going on.”
