Pakistan claims ‘open war’ with Afghanistan after cross-border attacks

Pakistan and Afghanistan have engaged in a fresh round of trading deadly cross-border attacks.

Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry has responded to the attacks, declaring ‘open war’.

The ceasefire that was in place since October has not held.
