‘Outright disrespectful’: Abdul El-Sayed compares himself to Jesus Christ on podcast
Activist and podcaster Adela Cojab criticises US Senate Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed for making “disrespectful” comparisons of his “radical” policies to the actions of Jesus Christ.
“For me it is an appropriation of Christianity that is outright disrespectful,” Ms Cojab told News24 host James Morrow.
“So he’s drawing these false parallels in the name of Jesus, which is a religion he doesn’t even subscribe to.”
