Original Sin – A New Resident Evil Fan Film

In celebration of the 30 years of the survival horror masterpiece, ROE Network is thrilled to announce Original Sin: Prelude to Biohazard, a non-profit, non-commercial feature length film produced by fans, for fans.

Helmed by Brandon Salisbury (George A. Romero’s Resident Evil, upcoming FAITH: The Unholy Trinity adaptation), winner of the 2025 Fangoria Chainsaw Award and recently nominated for the 2025 Rondo Hatten Classic Horror Award, Original Sin bridges the gap between the infamous Arklay Mountain murders and that faithful night when S.T.A.R.S. enters the Spencer Mansion.

Developed in collaboration with Residence of Evil, the production follows in the footsteps of successful fan-driven projects such as The Keeper’s Diary and Resurrection, both of which demonstrated the strength of the franchise’s global community and its appetite for new stories rooted in the classic era. As with prior productions, this project will be crowdfunded by the community on Indiegogo and distributed for free on our YouTube channel, ROE Network.
