One Nation accused of pushing ‘headline’ migration figure ahead of actual needs

​Nationals MP David Littleproud accuses One Nation of releasing a “headline” migration figure for political expediency instead of looking at the reality of what’s needed.

​“We won’t have a pub open west of the Great Divide if we don’t have a migration policy that’s sensible,” Mr Littleproud told News24.

​“The hierarchy of One Nation has put out a headline number for political expediency, but the practical reality is that regional Australia is starved of the skills, and we need to have common sense.”
